Last Sunday on Inside Texas Politics – Democrats said they were considering a quorum break. On Tuesday, they took off to a hotel in Washington. This week the Texas House Democrats are still in D.C., and Austin is at a standstill.

What happens now?

The costs are quickly mounting, so who’s paying the bills? Governor Greg Abbott initially spread misinformation. He called it a taxpayer junket but it’s not. Patrick Svitek from the Texas Tribune tells us more from Austin.
