In this video, I take to you to one of my absolute favorite places in Austin, Texas Mattie’s at Green Pastures. It’s a beautiful big white Southern Style home that was turned into a restaurant and wedding venue. We went there for Thanksgiving dinner because my family came to Austin to spend Thanksgiving with me. My apartment is not large enough to host 6 people. Mattie’s did a buffet for Thanksgiving and it was absolutely delicious. There was plenty of gluten-free options. I ate three plates of food!
The next day we drove to Waco to have lunch at Magnolia table. They weren’t taking large group reservations and said it was a 40 min wait for tables of 2. So we decided to do 3 tables of 2. We ended up only waiting 20 mins! It was so easy. So if you go with a big party either get there early or break up into smaller groups. The food at Magnolia Table was delicious. I highly recommend you check it out. Chip and Joanna Gaines created a beautiful restaurant and a delicious menu.
After Magnolia Table, we went over to Magnolia Market and Silos to see the Christmas displays and shop. We had such a great time at the Silos. We’ve been to the Silos in Waco 4 times. And every time is so much fun & a different experience. Joanna Gaines did such a good job decorating the Silos and Market. She curated so many cute pieces. I bought some really cute ornaments for my home. It was a super fun family day with my mom, dad, grandma, brother, and sister in law. I hope you enjoy watching!
