Hundreds of University of Texas students walked out of class for a rally organized by the Palestine Solidarity Committee. Hundreds of police officers are also at the scene. The group says it is demanding divestment from the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza and is following in the footsteps of similar rallies on college campuses across the U.S.
