Four fashion design program students from The Art Institutes were chosen to design and show their pieces at Austin Fashion Week – Elly Abels and Sandra Neema Nyamuhebe showed from The Art Institute of Austin, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston and Adrian Young and Sharysse Ferguson showed from The Art Institute of Houston. The students had only four weeks to design, curate, and sew all of their pieces, and then fit to their models. All was overseen and mentored by Ai fashion faculty Karen Bravo. We are #AiProud to be able to provide these amazing real-world and hands on learning opportunities to our students!
