There is a lot to do and explore in Austin and I wanted to share a few spots to go for quality views of the city, atmosphere and of course – food and drink. In this Austin city guide, I will share my recommendations of what to do in Austin, Texas.

AUSTIN CITY GUIDE:
-Cats Pajamas (Tropical bar with jetski’s as benches, swings by the bar + other quirky decor. Cute spot with live music)

-Parlor + Yard (This bar has both indoor seating as well as outdoor seating “on the yard”. You can play games, listen to live music and catch great views of the city)

-Suerte (Mexican food with tasty spicy margs)

-Zilker Park (What a relaxing trail! You can go for a walk, swim in the springs, go kayaking down the river ect. Definitely a MUST DO)

-Taco Joint (I’m not sure about always – but when we visited, this spot had a wait. Had many people suggest this spot for tacos. It was good)

-Peacock (probably my favorite spot we ate at. It’s located at a chic hotel and has both indoor and patio seating. Great food, atmosphere and cocktails. Mediterranean menu)

-Bufords (indoor / outdoor sports bar style. Lots of tv + can accommodate a large crowd)

-Unbarlievable (This is a cool bar – circus themed. The Rainey street location has a slide but this particular location does not have the slide)

-Mour (Cute breakfast spot that Lacey lived near. Has a little market inside too)

-Lady Bird Lake(go kayaking here! There are a ton of spots to rent kayaks from and truly is another Austin MUST DO)
-P6 (would recommend for happy hour – great view of lady bird river : located right where the bats flay threw although some nights it may not be visible. Food was mediocre so would more so recommend for drinks + the view)
