A month ago, my girlfriend and I took a trip to Austin, TX with two of our friends to see the Alchemy Tour with NGHTMRE, Slander, and Seven Lions. I titled this film “Breakthrough” because for the longest time I lacked the motivation to create, and was holding negative feelings towards myself and my work. I began to truly believe that I wasn’t creating (or able to create) “cool enough videos” for my audience, and found myself deep in the hole of comparing myself to others. In the grand scheme of things, it resulted in me simply just not creating anything at all. But this trip helped me realize that I need to just create what matters most to me, and whatever is most authentically from my genuine self… Not for anyone else.
Also, a brief shoutout to EMBRZ for producing such vibey music. Yes… vibey lol. He also just happens to be located in Austin, so of course, it just fits the film perfectly. If you see this EMBRZ, I fkn love your music bro. Thank you and your amazing talent.
Cheers!
