In 1959 my mother got a scholarship in the UT and studied there for 8 months. My father and me visited her late that year. A friend of hers got a video camera and made this short film. It is the only piece of video I have of my mother, that’s why I cherish it so much. Additionally it shows some images of Austin in 1959, including a view of the city taken from the UT Tower, at 2:35
