There may be an economic slowdown in the United States now, but some areas of the country continue to boom. One such place is the capital of the western state of Texas, Austin, which remains popular with high tech companies as well as artists, musicians and filmmakers. But, as VOA’s Greg Flakus reports from Austin, some longtime residents are worried that the rapid growth threatens a quality of life they call “weird.”
