Chris says he lived in over 35 boarding homes. I asked Chris what the difference is between foster homes and boarding homes. He said a foster home is more like a true family, and a boarding home is just a place to stay. <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not uncommon to meet homeless youth that has been placed in a high number of foster homes or boarding homes. How can any child grow up normal when they are being tossed around the system like that?!!<\/p>\n<p>Chris says there are a lot of jobs and opportunities for people experiencing homelessness. Often people on the streets do not see homelessness as it really is.
