This Video covers the Diwali celebrations in Austin, Texas with specific coverage of events at the Ranch Trails Park in the Ranch at Brushy Creek Community in Cedar Park, The Round Rock city Diwali celebrations and the Diwali celebration event at the Domain. The video attempts to bring out the difference in the way the Diwali is celebrated by Indian abroad where it is more of celebrating together with the Indian Community.

Diwali, Deepavali or Dipavali is a four-to-five day-long festival of lights, which is celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and some Buddhists every autumn in the northern hemisphere (spring in southern hemisphere). One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolises the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.” Light is a metaphor for knowledge and consciousness.[During the celebration, temples, homes, shops and office buildings are brightly illuminated.The preparations, and rituals, for the festival typically last five days, with the climax occurring on the third day coinciding with the darkest night of the Hindu lunisolar month Kartika. In the Gregorian calendar, the festival generally falls between mid-October and mid-November

I capture what I am fascinated with and I also capture my journey by train, Rail Road, Ship, Air. I am fascinated by the uniqueness and diversity of the different modes of transportation.

Canon G7X MKII is my ideal choice for wonderful Video logging and some night photos. For catching actions, scenes on the go, and some hard stuff to catch using normal camers I use GoPro – GoPro Session 5 and GoPro Hero Black. For on the spot, on the Go and unanticipated and unexpected catches I use my new iPhone XR / OnePlus 6.

Austin, Texas is by far one of my favorite cities to visit in Texas. The hill country of Texas has a lot of things to do and no matter the time of the year you can always find a beautiful sunset at The Oasis, amazing food at the plethora of food trucks throughout the city, or swim in Austin’s natural swimming pool, ‘Barton Spring’ year-round.

After Austin, we headed south to San Antonio, Texas to explore the riverwalk and to try some authentic Mexican food. The adventure didn’t stop there, Mike surprised me by stopping in Gruene, Texas where we discovered the oldest music hall in the State of Texas.

Stacey Abrams told PBS NewsHour correspondent Yamiche Alcindor in an interview at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, that politicians should see all communities as worth persuading. “I did not think black people were going to vote for me because I’m black,” Abrams said. “I had to spend as much time talking to the black community, talking to black women, as I did talking to white single moms, as I did white suburban moms, Latino farmers — we went everywhere and talked to everyone.”
