In Travel Texas (Suggestions for RVers trying to navigate Texas highways), Two Tired Teachers, native Texans, give some suggestions for those who will be traveling Texas with an RV. RV travel in Texas is wonderful and the Texas highway system is very good. That said, Interstates give you a look a Texas traffic at its worst. Texas RVing does not have to include Interstates.

Texas is a large state with many large cities and lots of construction areas. Towing an RV through cities and construction areas can be nerve wracking and dangerous. We show you how to avoid construction areas in Texas.

Two Tired Teachers offer some suggestions on how to avoid large cities and construction areas while traveling in Texas with an RV in Travel Texas (Suggestions for RVers trying to navigate Texas highways). Knowing how to avoid Texas construction areas will make your trip faster and much more enjoyable.

The best piece of advice the Two Tired Teachers give in Travel Texas (Suggestions for RVers trying to navigate Texas highways) is to choose state highways rather than Interstates. Anyone with experience in Texas travel will agree that this is a great RV travel tip for Texas.

State Highways are much less crowded than Interstates and the speed limits are often comparable to those on Interstates. Avoiding construction areas keeps you from sitting in traffic that is going nowhere. Tips for traveling Texas with RV would be incomplete without this idea about towing an RV in Texas.
