Today in my video I share my perspective on living in Austin Texas for over 10 years I have seen this city grow from lands and fields to business and homes. I can tell you others that born here must have seen even more… Things are changing sometimes is a good feeling some others are kind of a lot of changes. Moving to Austin TX it was the best decision I had made in my life. I love Austin and Love the lifestyle here. I always lived in North Side of the City and enjoy the quite and the simple places and the ability to take easy and have the work/life balance the city provides. I never purchased a home, seems like is not a cool topic for me to share since I am a homeowner, but In rentals, I know a lot. As a leasing agent for few years in the past, I had the opportunity to work with several properties in Austin TX and I understood the policies, the deals, the promotions and the needs of the potential tenants. I have denied many cases and approved a lot of cases as well. I can tell RR, Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Hutto etc all grew in past years dramatically.
With the growth and expansion of the city the apartments complex in Austin are growing and are boosting today apartments are no longer a competition people need places to live and with the number of people moving here is a way too much land to not used.
But if you are considering picking the best place to live here is the video sharing my perspective in order to come to a better decision. South? North? Maybe Downtown?
The best of all is that you can always rent and renew a lease somewhere else, and try new places until you ready to buy a home. Also, 4 or 5% property taxes compared to other states are still low when it comes to buying but of course it depends on some other factors but the general point of view compared to other states, yes it is still food for thought!
