Chris Seals started the first bourbon distillery in Austin, Texas since Prohibition. Now they are the largest whiskey facility in the entire state. Chris wanted Texas to have a voice in the world of whiskey and has crafted products that represent the culture of Austin. However, he doesn’t just include the urban area as part of Chris’s culture hails from West Texas. Having a family and living in Amarillo allowed Chris to visit the SBDC to help him with a business plan and networking with angel investors. As with most small business owners, he stays busy! Going back and forth between the Amarillo and Austin is both a challenge and a privilege and helps influence the new Texas whiskey.

Our vision is to build a culture of entrepreneurship by providing innovative education, expertise, and encouragement to business owners, entrepreneurs, and community partners.

We like to sit down with clients, or prospective business owners, and engage in one-on-one consulting sessions. Training, business plan writing, market research, and help with securing a loan are among the key services we provide. Aside from providing legal counsel and tax assistance, there’s hardly anything we can’t do to help your business.
