Austin, TX has many great locations for barbecue. If you are looking for a place with great barbecue without the 2-3 hour wait, definitely check out Stubb’s Bar-B-Q located in downtown Austin just a block north of 6th Street. I get to enjoy some very delicious beef brisket, a Texas staple, as well as pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, and cole slaw (a Scottman895 classic). Joined up by my friends Jennifer and Nathan, we all get to enjoy some great food. For what I have seen or heard, the good barbecue restaurants will have some kind of a wait. As we had to wait 15-20 minutes for table, we knew we were in for a delight!
